In intralogistics, cross-system standards meet the need for solutions for specific requirements. At LogiMAT 2023, b+b Automations- und Steuerungstechnik will present versatile, individually modifiable modular labeling systems.
Themed "Connecting Smart Networks", representatives from a wide range of industries will meet at Europe's leading international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, LogiMAT 2023 at Messe Stuttgart from April 25 to 27, 2023. This year's focus reflects a trend that started several years ago: Processes in intralogistics, in particular important labeling tasks, do not only rely on optimization through digitalization, but also on efficient process automation through the connection of different systems.
Standard solutions - a trend with opportunities and weaknesses
Manufacturers of labeling machines and related components are increasingly focusing on cross-system standards both in the development and production of their systems and in their control and integration into existing IT infrastructure. However, individual requirements for labeling processes and specific prerequisites, from the integration of labeling into existing processes to limited space, often make the use of such standard solutions significantly more difficult.

With an extensive selection of modularly designed labeling machines, b+b enables a simple orientation to individual production lines and, moreover, also a subsequent adaptation to changed prerequisites and requirements.
At LogiMAT 2023, b+b will present solutions for fully automatic pallet labeling from one, two or three sides.
With the EDS model series, booth visitors can also expect pneumatic label print dispensers for fast, precise and reliable labeling of products and packaging in a robust design, in a likewise modular construction and thus the possibility for adaptation and expansion.
For applications with special requirements for speed and accuracy, the label dispensers of the Rapid model series, which can also be examined at LogiMAT, are available both as pure dispensers for pre-printed labels and in the Rapid RSL Print+ variant, in combination with an OEM print module.
Independent of system and labeling task, b+b presents its label software Labelsplatform 5 at LogiMAT 2023. From the label editor to the automation of the complete workflow, LP5 is the control center for all labeling solutions. Code functions such as the handling of RFID or the generation of QR codes as well as the optimization for mobile touch devices enable simple and efficient work. In this context, b+b relies on simple integration through interfaces to common systems and thus, for example, the uncomplicated connection to merchandise management and other required information systems.
With the modular design, regarding the offered machines as well as the LP5 control software, b+b presents at LogiMAT a possibility to adapt standard components to individual requirements.
