As you have probably already learned from various industrial sectors, there have been massive increases in raw material prices and transport costs for several months. Unfortunately, we are also affected as a turnkey solution provider for labeling and marking technology.
In the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic, global demand for most raw materials fell significantly. The sharp drop in demand caused many of our raw material suppliers to cut production.
The decline in production of our raw material suppliers has led to low availability and rising prices for all of our raw materials, packaging materials and logistics. Our purchase prices have increased significantly.
Our procurement team was nevertheless able to ensure the continuity of the supply of all important raw materials. Unfortunately, we are forced to partially pass on the price increases in the procurement process to our customers and to increase our prices by 5.3% as of August 1st, 2021.
Due to the current situation, we can unfortunately only inform you about the price adjustment at very short notice. Existing offers therefore remain valid and are not affected by the price increase even if orders are received after August 1st, 2021.
